Data is stored in the battery and communicated to the charger via a unique IMPRES communication protocol which is designed to maximize talk-time and optimize battery cycle life. This 2300 mAh Li-ion intrinsically safe (IS) battery is designed for use in hazardous environments when paired with compatible, IS-certified raios. The IP57 rating means your battery is a tough as your radio and can be fully submersed in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
